Most of the pictures were taken this September at home the weekend that I weaned him.
He arrived Saturday morning, April 9th just before I was leaving to participate in a driving clinic. Of course I was late for the clinic! But it was worth it. I got the first Silver Dapple foal born in 2011. And what a gorgeous color he is, just check it out. He has the most cool diluted body and a creamy mane and tail. His legs are mottled with light and dark shades that seem to be working its way up his body. I love it!
My son the drummer, is comming up for names of the foals this year. All the names will be on the 'drum' theme. This colt is Zildjian. Zildjian makes symbols... the kind Royce likes best. And this colt just happens to be Royce's favorite this year. Do you think this is a coincidence? Hmmm, I wonder.
This colt is absolutely perfect! He is good sized with lots of energy. He is a healthy, strong colt. His legs are perfect and his proportions are excellent. This guy has the most gorgeous ears I have ever seen. They are absolutely curly! The only way he could be more perfect is if he were a filly. So... he is for sale.
