RG STORMY BELL
Bell has finally arrived to our farm on April 24, 2008. She made her long trek from Texas, USA.
We have been searching for a pure Funquest mare for the past several years and our search has finally ended with the purchase of this fine mare. We want to thank Sylvia Lowe of Texas for allowing us the privilage of owning Bell and for making this purchase experence such a pleasure. Bell is a typy mare that is unmistakenly Morgan all the way. Bell has a typical Morgan head with a broad forehead, big soft eyes and wide-set, short ears. She has a beautiful long, curvy neck that sets into a flat shoulder. Bell has a beautiful smooth body with a nice hip and long legs.
Bell has the typical Funquest trot; strong and balanced. As most Morgan breeders know, trotting is what Stewert Hazard of Funquest Farms bred his horses to do. We have bred her to our stallion Marvelous Robert for a 2009 foal and she produced an exceptional bay colt! He is pictured below.
This mare is broke to ride and she has proven to us her value under saddle. I will put anyone in the family on this girl and many guests and not worry for their safety. She will spend her time as both a brood mare and saddle horse. I expect that she will take some years off as a brood mare to make room for time in the show ring. I'd like to get her into harness too!! After all.....she can TROT!!! The possibilities are endless for this girl.
